Wishbone Turkey Platter

Grand in scale and rich in symbolism, the Wishbone Turkey Platter was created for the kind of Thanksgiving table people remember long after dinner is over.

At an extraordinary 33 inches long, the oversized platter is handcrafted in aluminum, finished in silver and gold, and framed by sculptural Wishbone handles. Designed to carry the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving table, it gives the traditional turkey the stage it deserves.

It is both serving piece and ceremonial object, the kind of piece brought out year after year until it becomes part of the family’s own holiday story. When not in use, its scale and sculptural form allow it to be displayed on a dining table, sideboard or large console as a dramatic objet d’art.

Designed as a future heirloom, it is a reminder not only to make a wish, but also to recognize everything already worth being grateful for.

Representing hopes, dreams and possibilities, the Wishbone has become a timeless symbol of the house of Lunares.

Each of our creations is designed in our San Francisco studio. Using centuries-old sand-casting techniques, master craftsmen create the original mould before skilled artisans handcraft and finish every piece with pride in our family-owned factory. Because each piece is made and finished by hand, subtle variations are part of its individual character.
