Wishbone Bookend Pair

A bookshelf can hold far more than books, and the Wishbone Bookends were designed to make the objects around them part of the story.

Handcrafted in aluminum and finished in silver and gold, the Wishbone Bookends bring height, movement and an unexpected sense of glamour to a bookshelf, library, office or console. Use them conventionally to frame a collection of books, or style them more freely alongside art books, photographs and collected objects.

Their sculptural scale gives them the presence of objets d’art in their own right. They are natural conversation pieces for anyone who believes a bookshelf should reveal as much about its owner as the books themselves.

They also make a meaningful gift for a reader, writer, graduate, new homeowner or anyone beginning a new chapter.

Representing hopes, dreams and possibilities, the Wishbone has become a timeless symbol of the house of Lunares.

Each of our creations is designed in our San Francisco studio. Using centuries-old sand-casting techniques, master craftsmen create the original mould before skilled artisans handcraft and finish every piece with pride in our family-owned factory. Because each piece is made and finished by hand, subtle variations are part of its individual character.
